Grilled Salmon Tadka

Grilled Salmon Tadka is one of our easiest and most delicious recipes. This is a weeknight staple at my house.

Makes 2 servings | Prep Time: 5 min | Cook Time: 5-7 min

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Pre-heat oven on broil setting.

  2. Wash salmon in cold water and pat dry with paper towel. Sprinkle Jaswant’s Kitchen Tadka Masala on the piece of fish. Drizzle the oil on the fish and pat it down to ensure the masala sticks.

  3. Place fish in oven on greased foil lined tray, about 10 inches away from the element. Cook until fish is opaque. This should take about 5-7 minutes depending on your oven. Do not overcook. Serve with basmati rice and salad.

You can also serve this dish as an appetizer by making bite sized pieces and tossing with masala and oil before cooking.

#1 family favourite

This is our #1 salmon go-to. Kids love it. We don't even try other salmon recipes anymore because they don't taste as good as this! In summer we make it on cedar plan on bbq.

Very flavorful rub

This spice blend has an amazing collection of flavors but at the same time does not contain an insane amount of salt. The taste is premium. Very easy to use and it turned out really well on Haddock fish. Next time i will try it on salmon as suggested on package.
Highly recommended!

So easy to make!

Made this last night after the gym and it was so easy to prepare. I even skipped the oil bcs I was lazy. Just used the tadka masala and put the fish under the broiler on a piece of foil. Was done in less than 10 minutes and was delicious. Had it with a kale salad....which means i stuck to my new year's resolution of eating healthy meals at home during the week! Will definitely make this again!

Unreal.

Hi Jesse,

We made the salmon tonight. Something that quick and that easy shouldn't taste that good! Wow.

I served the salmon with steamed asparagus (with a touch of lemon), sliced avocado, and fresh cilantro to garnish. Prep time took all of five minutes with another eight or so for cooking.

This wonderfully warm and fulfilling meal will be an easy staple - thank to your artful spice blends!
